Palaeontologist with a strong geologist background. Main interests concern Mesozoic vertebrates and biomaterials. Specialist in amniote eggshell structure, with emphasis in archosaurian eggshells. I am proficient in computational phylogenetics.
Interested in the frontier between Biology and Geology, I developed a curriculum where biominerals and taphonomy are explored at different levels, using a wide range of analytical techniques, such as stable isotopes and Electron Backscattered Diffraction.
Strong preference for field work, I conduct yearly field seasons in both of Spain and Portugal. Interested in the transmission of knowledge to the general public, I have experience in outreach, working for two years at PALEOYMAS SL, writing contents for museums, musealized outdoor routes and cell phone apps.
